How many Forums [Archive] - Web Templates | vBulletin Skins

How many forums do each of you run? I ask because I am trying to decide if it's better to put some of my ideas into standalone separate forums where they will keep own identity and domain name or find a way of using all the ideas in one forum? Would each idea be watered down by merging them all would maybe one or all stand a better chance solo?

We run 3 forums ( two vb and 1 ipb). The forums are drastically different from one another so there would be no reason to merge them together. Think about yourself as a user when you decide how to construct forums. What type of content/discussion would you like to see in one site?
